Retain water
EVERGREEN® and ECOSORB® are super-absorbent polymers that biodegrade completely, leaving no residue in the soil or on the plants. They absorb up to 300 to 400 times their weight in water and release it to the roots as the crop needs it, cycle after cycle, until they naturally break down (20-25% per year) into CO₂, water and assimilable nitrogen compounds.

Unlike sodium-based water retainers — which, once hydrated, form a salty paste that suffocates roots — or acrylamide-based formulations, banned in many countries for their toxicity, both our references are potassium-based and compatible with food crops. Combined with our ECOFERT® fertilisers, they form a complete system that delivered a 25% gain in sugar content (Brix) on sugarcane, using just 15 kg of product per hectare.
On contact with water — rain, irrigation, or residual soil moisture — the dry granule absorbs up to 300 to 400 times its own weight, turning into a gel that stores water right at the roots. The first three weeks of a crop cycle are critical: normal irrigation must be maintained to fully saturate the granules, during which the plant's roots intertwine with the gel and anchor into this water reserve.

EVERGREEN® and ECOSORB® are not toxic to skin in any way; only their fine granulometry calls for a dust mask when handling. If spilled, blow off the residue with compressed air rather than rinsing with water, which would make the soil slippery.
Our water retainers are used in conventional and organic farming alike — they actually speed up the transition to certified organic — as well as in arboriculture, nurseries, landscaping and agroforestry. Over 95% of transplanted trees survive; remaining losses come from non-viable plants or wildlife damage, never from water stress.

Golf courses and municipalities that adopt them report watering labour savings large enough, from the very first season, to cover the cost of the product. Simply mix them into the planting substrate; they are compatible with fertilisers, biostimulants or bacteria, whose action is enhanced by the constant presence of water.
Five branded technologies, and the agroforestry program that combines them on land to be reclaimed.
